Sierra Energy is an intellectual property development and licensing company founded in Davis, California in 2004. We hold patents around the world.

Our technology was initially developed by Bruce Claflin (Chief Industrial Engineer – Kaiser Steel) and John Jasbinsek (consultant for Kaiser Steel). While, they were initially only looking for a way to produce iron more efficiently, they soon realized their technology was even better at cleanly and efficiently converting waste streams into energy. Thus, our solutions are new applications of a long-established technology.

Sierra Energy continues to develop its intellectual property through research, development, and demonstration. We are continually expanding our know-how, expertise, contacts, and resources.
